Top-Grossing films for past week at Iran's box-office

The latest box-office data for the Iranian cinema shows that 'Texas 3' remains the top-grossing film.

It has earned a total of two trillion, one hundred thirty billion rials (some 4.2 million USD) since its release some days ago.

Other successful films from last week till August 30 include 'Bloody Crocodile', 'Intoxicated By Love' and 'Don't Be Ashamed 2'.

The figures also show that the length of a film's screening and the number of times it's shown can affect its earnings.

Exciting new films, including 'The Glass House' and 'Soudabeh', have just hit the silver screen and are generating considerable buzz.

Despite a shorter screening period of 36 days, 'Money and Party' secured 600 billion rials (some 1.2 million USD). This suggests that the film captured the audience's attention immediately after its release.
